E-RX is a mobile app that enables doctors and other physicians to send prescription to participating pharmacies using a secured path instead of the traditional way of handwritten prescription which will improve prescription accuracy and legibility, increase patient safety and reduce prescription fabrication.Furthermore, the app will provide access for every doctors into patient’s medical and laboratory history, provide medicine delivery to patient’s house if the patient has the app installed in his device and give the pharmacies visibility into who is getting prescribed what drugs by whom.
The app will make an end to drug abuse, prescription overdose and drug diversion by reducing the risk of altered, stolen and fraudulent prescription.
Last but not least, the app provides a page that will improve the interaction between the doctors and the patients by giving feeds about new health issues and cures and by receiving advice and comments from doctors as well as patients.
